HOW TO HANDLE
OFFLINE DONATIONS
The funds you raise for the Best Buddies Challenge can be broken up into two different types of donations: Online and Offline. Online donations are made through your secure personal webpage using a credit card and are reflected immediately, meaning your work is done! Offline donations, like checks that must be mailed in, require a few additional steps on your part. Please follow the steps below to avoid any errors in crediting your donations!
Ready to get started? Check out the following instructions:
First, make sure that you tell donors to make their checks out to Best Buddies International.
Next, for each offline donation that you receive, an offline gift form needs to be filled out in its entirety. You can download an offline gift form here.
Offline donations are NOT counted toward your financial commitment until they have been received by Best Buddies and credited to your account by our offices.
After you have collected your checks and made sure they are made out to Best Buddies International, filled out a corresponding offline gift form, and send your checks and forms all in!
